So with music and stuff…

I’ve been a self taught songwriter and producer with guitar, bass, drums, vocals and very poor keys. I’m super into DIY, recording basically everything in my home setup, mostly because I’ve never had the patience…or the wallet for proper studio time.

Ever since I was 13 and picked up a camcorder to record weird acoustic guitar songs with the lens cap still on, only to extract the audio later in software, I haven’t really looked back.

I’ve mostly learnt from Youtube university, but also just from a heck of a lot of trial and error. I started off on Audacity but have gone through Logic 9 and now Reaper (the best!).

I used to create singer-songwriter stuff, then I went onto fronting an indie rock band called Polar Knights, then onto fronting and producing/recording a more serious touring shoegaze/dreampop band called Cull. These days I do a bunch of experiments here and there, blending heavy music and cheesy synthpop with Rivvy and self releases.
