Creative Brimbank 2020 launch

The City of Brimbank council is a local government in Melbourne, Victoria. I was commissioned by Brimbank Council to art direct and illustrate the master artwork for the new creative arm of their council named, “Creative Brimbank”.

Creative Brimbank will consist of community and performing arts programs in both online and offline formats,

THE BRIEF: Create master artwork to be rolled out digitally. In doing this, celebrating the diversity and unlimited potential of it’s community’s creativity.

THE EXECUTION: When I think of creativity, I think of the brain. The engine, the master source. I also think of freedom, limitless expression and inclusivity. The master artwork reflects all of these with an open head, spilling out creativity.

The artwork was designed to be rolled out as a template for an in-house designer, so the “explosion” area would hold the copy and can be adapted via colours and copy to any event or messaging that Brimbank Council puts out.
